10 VFR FLIGHTS
10.1 General
a. In this chapter,

b. To enhance the "see and avoid" concept,

are advised to switch on their navigational,

and anti-collision lights and shall keep

c. In all cases,

flights with destination

shall report their position, request and obtain an
ATC
CLR
prior to enter the Brussels
CTR

TMA
/
CTA
.
d. When practicable such request shall be made at least 5
MIN
before entering the Brussels
CTR

TMA
/
CTA
.
TFC
shall never enter controlled airspace without
CLR
.
e. Pilots on
VFR
flight plan to and from
EBBR
or crossing the Brussels
CTR
/
TMA
shall adhere strictly to
published procedures and
ATC
instructions.
f. Non-adherence to procedures and
ATC
instructions can cause unacceptable supplementary workload
for controllers and may result in delays for the flights concerned.
